Strolling along Palmerston Ave today, I passed two house houses adjacent to each other with almost identical windows and lighting inside. In front of the window on the left house was a really furry grey cat. It was just kind of gazing out onto the street – very still.

Then I noticed a similar furry figure in front of the window of the house on the right – a dog! It was like a total mirror image of the cat; they both had the same expression and quietly gazing out the window. It was a very picturesque moment. I wanted to take a pic but hesitated in fear of ruining the moment, so I decided to draw it (the best I could anyway :P).

If you’ve never walked on Palmerston street between Dundas and Adelaide, I totally recommend it. It’s got really cute houses that makes you want own a house even if you don’t want a house.
