I have seen you twice now sitting alone on the bench by the lake. Both times, you had a bagful of bread with you. At a constant pace, you would rip a bit of bread of the loaf and throw it towards approaching animals.

Perhaps you are bored, sad or lonely and you find comfort in feeding the swans, seagulls, ducks, and pigeons. But please consider giving the bread to a homeless person instead who might actually benefit from your generosity.

The swans, seagulls, ducks and pigeons will still be there for you.
